MISSION BHAGIRATHA (INTRA)

COVERAGE IN MAHABUBABAD DISTRICT (INTRA).

The Government of Telangana has taken up the water Intra programme (Mission Bhagheeratha Programme) as a flag ship item to provide safe drinking water to all rural people at 100lpcd to rural households.

As a part of Programme intra is proposed in Mahabubabad District 16 mandal’s of Dornakal, Mahabubabad, Palakurthy, Yellandu and Mulugu constituencies also 3 Muncipalities(ULB) i.e, Mahabubabad, Dornakal, Maripeda and Thorrur from Palair reservoir in Khammam District as a source.

Stabilization Programme:

To complete the gaps in the habitations in OHSRs, Pipeline and House Hold Connections to supply water to every house hold and laying of pedestals to every taps, Stabilization programme is taken up and it is in progress. Already 603 habitations are completed and 134 habitations are in progress.
